Aims and Scope

The journal aims to publish double-blind peer-reviewed papers on all aspects and intersections of climate, disasters, and development, and their interaction.

As policy makers, development workers, and the general public become more keenly aware of the rising risks posed by climate hazards and disasters and their impacts on national development, the journal provides a forum for the presentation of recent research findings on these topics and their management implications. It is aimed not only for researchers, but at anyone concerned with national development amidst climate risks and disasters.

CDD Journal is a project of the Oscar M. Lopez Center for Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management Foundation, Inc., a non-stock, non-profit organization based in the Philippines. The Center is dedicated to promoting a resilient society, able to cope and prosper in the midst of climate-related risks and disasters by generating science-based solutions in the area of climate change adaptation and disaster risk management.
